What PICS does:
Princeton Internships in Civic Service provide the opportunity for Princeton
students to explore careers in public service and the non-profit sector.
Through real-world experience with sponsor
organizations, these bright young men and women bring creativity, skills and energy to the job and produce effective, meaningful
work for their organizations.
PICS assists organizations to identify and
design significant projects that will challenge and fully utilize the talents of these outstanding interns.
PICS
solicits from potential student interns in-depth applications
for those projects which strongly interest them.
PICS conducts personal
interviews with each of this large pool of candidates and together, with the organization, selects the best intern
for the job.
PICS provides alumni mentors for the interns to assist them
and their organizations throughout the work experience.
